The Association has a team of bailiffs who regularly patrol the banks and assist members.

Constant improvements are made to the fishery and members are encouraged to help with stocking, bank clearing etc. There is a guest permit facility and a number of social events organised.

Membership is strictly controlled to ensure no over-crowding. The Association is non-profit making and has been in existence since the end of the war.

Winter fishing
Winter fishing for grayling which have been introduced by the Association and coarse fish, including chub in excess of 5lb, provides additional sport on specified reserved sections of the fishery.
